Live a courageous life

Every day many of us wrestle with our fears. You could be battling with a decision about your career, expressing your love for someone, or just wanting to speak up when you see injustice. But then you decide not to as you say to yourself there just no point or you just not capable of doing it. You can call it fear, anxiety, stress, life challenges but the cycle plays out the same. You have the desire for change, but your fear of what the outcome will be can keep you stuck. When fear arises, instead of trying to get rid of it, you can embrace and accept it as part of the process of change and practice courage.

Courage can be practiced and learned for coping with difficulty and can become a habit. If you want to be different, you have to do things differently. Being courageous makes you feel good because you learn to master your emotions. True courage is being afraid, but still going ahead and facing your fears.

Some positive ways to practice courage:

  1. Stand up for what you believe is right even if you are the only one standing.

This is something I battled with for many years. It’s easy to stand up for what you believe is right when you are not alone but when it is only you, it can be very scary. Being brought up in a society that has a conditioned mindset and belief that a women’s identity is only being a wife, mother, and householder, it was very difficult to take a stand. But I faced my fear and released my short video about women finding their identity.

  1. Do what sets your soul on fire.

After many years of soul searching, finally, in 2017 I found what sets my soul on fire. It was making a difference and transforming people’s lives that came to me. I became a Life Coach and an NLP Practitioner and started my own practice called Positive Lane. Since then not only have I made a difference in other’s lives but I have evolved and grown as an individual.

In conclusion, live a courageous life without fear of the end results, own your space and take a leap of faith. To be happy and at peace is to find the courage to let go of what you cannot change.

At Positive Lane, it is all about making a difference and transforming your life so for the best possible service both online and in-person, book a session with me. Remember the journey begins with you.
